I went to 6 different stores across 3 different states (in an effort to include all of my family in the dress shopping experience) and this is the ONLY store that gave me a genuine and comfortable experience! Every single other store I went to felt pushy and disingenuous in some way or another. A lot of them were in a rush to make me make a decision, or would explain away any objections to a dress I didn’t like, or would insist that they have to be in the dressing room with me when I’m down to only my undies!
At The Story Bridal, every single dress Amanda chose was beautiful and perfect in its own right. It was literally banger after banger. Once I walked out in each dress, she would walk away and give me the space to comfortably decide how I felt about a dress and discuss with my future in-laws, while being available for any questions. Every other place was seriously up my butt! I felt so pressured to make a decision at every store except this one. I had to try not to cry happy tears here, and held back nervous and overwhelmed tears at other places. This is the only place where I was able to express any true happy emotions, because I felt safe enough to do so!
